District police officers from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec stopped a 47-year-old man on one of the city’s streets who was driving a car while under the influence of alcohol. The officers:
The test showed that the Bolesławiec resident had 0.3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
That was not the end of the matter, however. It came to light that the man was subject to a court-imposed driving ban, meaning he had committed a crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
