On Friday, March 26, the Educational Fair was held in the sports hall of I Liceum Ogólnokształcącego in Bolesławiec. Seven upper-secondary schools presented their educational offerings. Visitors could also visit the booths of the Cech Rzemiosł Różnych i Małej Przedsiębiorczości, the Poradnia Psychologiczno-Pedagogiczna and the Ochotniczy Hufiec Pracy.
– Our Technikum offers training in a new profession: gastronomic services organisation technician. For now, we are opening one class. We do not know how much interest we can expect from lower-secondary students – says Laura Słocka-Przydróżna, headmistress of the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych in Bolesławiec.
The fair was organised by the Department of Education, Culture, Physical Culture and Sport of the Starostwo Powiatowe w Bolesławcu in cooperation with upper-secondary schools. – Teenagers may feel somewhat lost amid the wealth of educational institutions' offerings. Meetings of this kind are a very good thing! – emphasises Dariusz Kwaśniewski, a member of the Board of Powiat Bolesławiecki.
