Energy prices have soared. Therefore, one of the applications the county government intends to submit under the Polish Deal concerns replacing the gas boiler room at the Bolesławiec Healthcare Complex. The boiler room dates back to the 1990s. And—as the county head himself admitted—it is high time for this heat source to be replaced.

What will the application concern?

The county government will apply to replace the boiler room and gas heating system with a heat pump with a capacity of 2 megawatts. What is more, photovoltaic panels are to be installed on the roofs of the facility.

Tomasz Gabrysiak:

I do not believe that it will be possible to eliminate the costs, but I think they will be radically lower.
