Last weekend, officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, while checking compliance with speed limits, stopped two drivers in a built-up area. Ignoring the 50 km/h speed limit, both speeders were driving at more than 100 km/h.
On Saturday, a minibus driver was caught in Bolesławiec municipality. The 33-year-old from Bolesławiec was driving at 107 km/h. On Sunday, meanwhile, in Nowogrodziec municipality, officers stopped a 47-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County who had exceeded the permitted speed by 55 km/h.

Both drivers lost their driving licences for three months and were fined PLN 1,500 and given 10 penalty points.
