The second arrest took place on January 17. Thanks to information provided by a driver who was traveling behind the woman driving a Renault passenger car, officers from the Road Traffic Unit of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski arrested the 34-year-old. Lwówek Śląski DPH:
Let us recall that the previous day, January 16, the woman had been arrested by a police officer in connection with driving under the influence of alcohol.

As it turned out, the Bolesławiec resident, despite having her driving licence confiscated on Sunday, got behind the wheel of her Renault again on Monday. And... she was drunk once more; a breath test showed 1.5 per mille of alcohol.
She explained that she only wanted to get to Bolesławiec.
The officers added:
In connection with the crime committed, the woman faces a harsher sentence and a driving ban extended in duration.
