Officers of the Customs and Tax Service regularly inspect courier and postal shipments and uncover illegal goods. – During routine inspections, they found 68 g of marijuana and 20 packages of gummies containing the active substance THC, which is psychoactive and hallucinogenic. The black-market value of the items seized is PLN 6,000 – reports Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, press spokesperson for the Lower Silesian KAS.
She adds:
The crime of importing, exporting, transporting, intra-Community acquisition or intra-Community supply of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or poppy straw is punishable by up to 5 years’ imprisonment and a fine.
