Two men were detained by police officers after getting behind the wheel despite being subject to court-imposed driving bans. The 27-year-old was arrested in Bolesławiec, while the 34-year-old was detained in the Osiecznica municipality.
The latter is facing more than just a charge of violating a court ban. It emerged that he had been driving under the influence of alcohol. (The test showed 0.4 per mille of alcohol in the exhaled air.)
Both drivers now face up to five years in prison.
