On Thursday, December 30, at 6:00 p.m., Kino Forum will host a “Film Farewell” to the Year, featuring two excellent films, with holiday greetings, gifts and a toast during the intermission! Evening attire and, of course, a good mood are welcome. We invite all lovers of good, sophisticated cinema to Forum.
The partners of this exceptional film event are companies from Bolesławiec that are always eager to support local cultural events: NZOZ Provita, the Gabinetów Perfect Look Clinic chain and Hotel IBIS.
(NOT) LONG AND HAPPILY
The film’s protagonists are four married couples who learn that their marriages were invalid because they were officiated by someone impersonating a priest. They have one month to decide the future of their relationships. Will they agree to say “I do” to each other once again, or will they use this opportunity to seek a new chance in life?
PARALLEL MOTHERS
The latest film by Pedro Almodóvar, starring Penélope Cruz, who won an award for her role at the Venice Film Festival, is a declaration of faith in the strength of women, their solidarity and courage.
Winter Hits at Kino Forum
Kino Forum’s Christmas and New Year offering includes family films and a helping of great cinema. BOK–MCC’s Kino Forum invites audiences from the second day of Christmas onward. The programme includes the recent box-office hit, the third instalment of the Spider-Man series, SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME. Also on screen is Steven Spielberg’s long-awaited WEST SIDE STORY. Fans of one of contemporary cinema’s most original artists, Woody Allen, can look forward to the premiere of RIFKIN’S FESTIVAL—a humorous story full of surprises, romances and matters of the heart. The director’s latest work is also a loving tribute to cinema, which can help bring about great changes in each of our lives.
- Spider-Man: No Way Home through December 29
A continuation of Spider-Man’s adventures and the third instalment of the web-slinger series. Tom Holland will once again play the superhero. The previous two films achieved major commercial success, earning more than two billion dollars worldwide. Fans of the character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko are surely waiting impatiently.
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, December 27–29
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film, which forever changed the face of cinema and pop culture. On this occasion, the film is returning to cinemas for a short time. Fans—and not only them, as the screenings will also be a great opportunity to introduce the young wizard’s adventures to a new generation—will have the chance to see the title on the big screen once again! For this occasion, HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE is returning to cinemas for a limited time (extended version with bonus materials)! Only three screenings at our cinema.
- THE MATRIX RESURRECTIONS FROM JANUARY 2
The Matrix Resurrections is the long-awaited fourth instalment of the groundbreaking film series that revolutionised its genre. The new film brings back actors from the previous instalments—Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss—in the roles of the iconic characters Neo and Trinity.
The January programme is also shaping up to be highly appealing. Fans of Polish cinema can look forward to the continuation of the cult film series END OF THE WORLD, OR KOGEL MOGEL 4. Younger moviegoers can enjoy the hit animated comedy SING 2. The regular cinema offerings will include weekly meetings of the film discussion club, film education for children and young people, an encore morning screening and another screening by the Film Club for Seniors—a new addition to the programme of Bolesławiec’s cinema.

The organisers hope that the prepared offering will win the audience’s approval and bring everyone plenty of positive film-related emotions.
