It has happened. Fuel prices are falling. As reported by the business service interia.pl:
The fall in fuel prices is a consequence of the act signed by the president on Saturday, which reduces excise duty on electricity and fuels and suspends the retail sales tax on fuels. It provides for a temporary reduction in excise duty rates on electricity and certain motor fuels—diesel, biocomponents constituting standalone fuels, petrol and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)—starting on 20 December; the reduced rates will change again on 1 January 2022.
And indeed. At the Shell station in Bolesławiec, for example, the prices of 95-octane petrol and diesel have fallen below PLN 6. (Over the weekend, both were above PLN 6.)
