As we read on the website of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec:
If you want to learn more about serving in the Police and how to become a Bolesławiec police officer, come to the open day on 16 December, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the station at 20 Zygmunta Augusta Street, or call the Human Resources and Training Team at 47 873 32 58.
Who is the ideal candidate for service in the Police?
Someone who:
- has at least secondary education;
- has the physical and mental capacity to serve in armed formations subject to particular official discipline, which they are prepared to obey;
- offers a guarantee of maintaining secrecy in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information;
- has a regulated status with regard to military service—in the case of people subject to military qualification. A police officer’s service relationship is established by appointment following voluntary application for service. Appointment may take place after completion of basic military service or transfer to the reserve. This means that a person unfit for active military service in peacetime (category “D”) who is also a reserve soldier meets these requirements. Therefore, having health category “D” does not disqualify a candidate applying to join the Police;
- is a Polish citizen. Holding dual citizenship does not disqualify a candidate during the recruitment process;
- has an impeccable reputation;
- has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a crime or fiscal offense;
- enjoys full public rights.
