Officers from the Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec Police unit arrested a 24-year-old man suspected of committing 17 shoplifting incidents. Between August and November, the man committed a series of offenses and crimes at retail establishments in Bolesławiec. His haul included, among other things, perfumes, cosmetics, tools, a game console and building blocks for children.
Over several months, the detainee stole store merchandise worth nearly 9,000 zlotys. The man had previously been convicted of offenses against property, which is why he faces up to 7.5 years in prison for the acts committed. Police officers recovered several items stolen by the detainee.
The 24-year-old from Bolesławiec was taken to prison immediately after his arrest because he has to serve a prison sentence for possessing narcotic substances.
