In November, we received photographs from a reader showing a muddy road in Raciborowice Górne. The asphalt road is used both by farmers travelling to their fields and by cyclists, who mainly use it recreationally. The reader pointed out that the stretch of road was heavily polluted and that nobody was cleaning it.

Meanwhile, this matter is regulated by the Code of Petty Offences, which provides for a fine, among other things, for polluting a public road, for example by agricultural vehicles leaving fields or heavy goods vehicles leaving a construction site.

Code of Petty Offences:

Art. 91. Anyone who pollutes a public road or leaves a vehicle, another object or an animal on that road in circumstances in which this may cause danger or obstruct traffic is liable to a fine of up to PLN 1,500 or a reprimand.
