The McDonald's restaurant in Bolesławiec opened on November 30. The President of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, attended the opening and cut the ribbon. In a brief speech, the mayor expressed his joy at another investment in Bolesławiec. Around 70 people are expected to find employment at the restaurant.
On the restaurant’s first day of operation, many fans of wraps, burgers and fries came there. However, it is important to remember that eating fast food too often is not healthy for the body.
Czy wybierasz się do nowego McDonaldsa?
Fast food, as its name suggests, is meant to be prepared and served quickly and to satisfy hunger rapidly. Fast food is tasty, but tasty does not always mean healthy.
As we read on Medonet.pl:
This is food that is highly processed in many cases and contains large amounts of carbohydrates, sugar, saturated fats and salt (sodium). These products are often high in calories and lack any nutrients (vitamins and minerals).
The website also warns about the consequences of consuming this type of food too often:
The growing widespread use of fast food among teenagers and young adults is a cause for concern because of the high intake of fat and energy, which can lead to obesity and subsequently to chronic diseases associated with obesity. The addition of fat, sugar and salt creates a flavor that makes people crave these foods, which many describe as an addiction. Unfortunately, the increase in the consumption of unhealthy food is already a global phenomenon.
It is worth exercising common sense and remembering that eating this type of food occasionally does not cause significant health effects. More about fast food can be found on Medonet.pl
