On Sunday, November 28, officers from the Traffic Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec carried out the Sober Morning operation. KPP:
The intensified checks were carried out in Nowogrodziec Municipality. The officers checked the sobriety of 114 drivers.
After 8:00 a.m., officers detained a 41-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. He was sober, but he committed another offence by getting behind the wheel. His driving entitlement had been revoked.
An hour later, traffic officers checked the sobriety of a 36-year-old man, who registered more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol. Both irresponsible drivers now face up to two years in prison.
