The crime occurred on August 15, 2021. The President of Bolesławiec received an email threatening to take his life. The message came from the address bolek.zabije.w.boleslawcu@op.pl.
On November 15, after three months of investigation, the police discontinued the proceedings. They failed to identify the perpetrator. The decision was approved by the Bolesławiec prosecutor’s office.
The perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime against Piotr Roman remained unpunished.
