Lower Silesian KAS officers prevented the shipment of more than 16 tonnes of used clothing from Switzerland. The Polish recipient of the goods named in the documents did not have the required permit to process waste and was unable to recover or dispose of it in accordance with EU regulations. This was another such seizure: three months earlier, 15 tonnes of the same type of waste had been discovered, also being brought in for the same recipient.
