The incident took place on Thursday, 25 November. As officers from the Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna in Krzyżowa report:
[...] at 21:27, we were dispatched to a passenger car that had rolled over on the 56th kilometre of the A4 motorway in the direction of Wrocław.
They added:
Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that two passenger cars and one truck were involved in the incident. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
The Opel driver, a 53-year-old resident of Opole Voivodeship, hit a BMW while overtaking and then collided with a truck trailer. The Opel rolled over. The person responsible was fined.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec (two units), Krzyżowa, Różyniec, as well as two emergency medical teams and the police took part in the operation.
