– Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec received a report about threats made against the victim by her former husband. This was already the fourth such incident recently, reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – The police then received information that a window had been smashed at the Municipal Culture and Sports Centre.
After analysing the reports and determining the route taken home by the perpetrator of the threats, the officers quickly concluded that the suspect in both cases was a 43-year-old resident of Lubań County. Out of anger, he threw a stone at the GOKiS building, smashing a window and causing damage worth PLN 1,000.
The detained man was charged with a total of 5 offences: one charge of property damage and 4 concerning criminal threats. The vandal could now go to prison for up to five years.
