The incident occurred on Monday, March 8, at the municipal cemetery on Śluzowa Street in Bolesławiec. At around 5:00 p.m., municipal police officers noticed two boys who began to flee when they saw the officers. During the escape, one of the minors threw three candle inserts onto the ground, while the other threw a plastic shopping bag.
The boys were apprehended on Rajska Street. It turned out that the bag contained eight candle inserts and one grave candle. The minors admitted to the theft. The municipal police notified the Bolesławiec police about the entire incident.
