The incident took place on Tuesday, November 16, around noon. – During a patrol, community police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski noticed a man who entered a store without covering his mouth and nose – reports Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer for the Lwówek police.
The customer was identified, and it came to light that he was wanted by the District Court in Lwówek Śląski because he had to serve a prison sentence of more than one year for property-related crimes.
The 59-year-old resident of Lwówek has already been taken to pre-trial detention. The officers remind everyone:
Since May 15 this year, covering the mouth and nose outdoors has not been mandatory; however, this requirement still applies in enclosed spaces.
