The basic training for OSP rescue firefighters, completed with an examination at the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, ended on November 7. Firefighters from Bolesławiec:
Eighteen volunteers completed the course. Theoretical and practical classes were conducted by State Fire Service officers and took place on the premises of the headquarters.
What subjects were the trainees introduced to?
The officers said: “The trainees were introduced, among other things, to the following subjects: respiratory protective equipment, mechanical equipment, firefighting tactics, fire ladders and hydraulic equipment.”
Moreover, each of them successfully passed a test in a smoke chamber, which took place at the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wałbrzych.
