The incident took place on November 11. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
Before 4 p.m., we were dispatched to an intervention involving the opening of an apartment in Nowogrodziec. There was a suspicion that something might have happened to one of the residents of the multi-family building.
They added:
After entering the apartment through a window with the help of a ladder, one injured person was found, with no signs of vital functions. It was too late to help; medical procedures were discontinued, and the emergency medical team pronounced the person dead.
Firefighters from Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec, as well as the police and an emergency medical team, took part in the operation.
