– Officers from the Bolesławiec police unit arrested a 30-year-old man known for numerous property crimes. The man was wanted in connection with numerous thefts, reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
She adds:
After his arrest, he was charged with further offenses.
The reason? Gutter thefts. First, the repeat offender stole 15 meters of copper guttering from a chapel next to a church, and several days later the 30-year-old stole gutters from a private house. The total losses were estimated at nearly PLN 4,000.
As the resident of our county is a repeat offender, he now faces up to 7.5 years in prison.
