One person died after a passenger car collided with a truck on the A4 motorway, near the town of Przesieczany (Zgorzelec County). The tragedy occurred on the carriageway toward the border crossing. Traffic disruptions will last for several hours.

Police officers from Zgorzelec are investigating the circumstances of a road accident that occurred last Saturday on the A4 motorway near the town of Przesieczany. According to the findings, a 33-year-old woman from Zgorzelec County, driving an Audi, crashed into the rear of a truck combination travelling in the same direction. Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
Last Saturday, before 7:00 a.m., the duty officer at the Zgorzelec police headquarters received a report of a road incident that occurred on the A4 motorway near the town of Przesieczany.
At the scene, under the supervision of a prosecutor, officers from the Zgorzelec police headquarters and a forensic technician worked. During the police operations, traffic moved along one lane.
According to the preliminary findings, a 33-year-old woman from Zgorzelec County, driving an Audi, crashed into the rear of a truck combination travelling in the same direction. Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
