On the occasion of National Education Day, the mayor of Nowogrodziec presented awards and expressions of thanks to teachers who, in the 2020/2021 school year, stood out through interesting and unconventional teaching methods, inspiring ideas and tremendous commitment to working with students. The following people were honored in this way:

  • Ewa Puzio – principal of the Primary School named after the Miners of Mineral Resources in Czerna,
  • Teresa Buryła – principal of the Primary School named after John Paul II in Gościszów,
  • Urszula Troszczak-Krzywdzińska – principal of the Primary School named after Bolesław Chrobry in Nowogrodziec,
  • Małgorzata Klisiewicz – teacher designated to replace the principal of the Primary School named after Tadeusz Kościuszko in Wykroty,
  • Izabela Żukowska-Maziarz – principal of the Public Kindergarten in Nowogrodziec,
  • Dorota Broda – deputy principal of the Public Kindergarten in Nowogrodziec,
  • Artur Kril – deputy principal of the Primary School named after Józef Piłsudski in Nowa Wieś,
  • Dariusz Kril – teacher at the Primary School named after John Paul II in Gierałtów,
  • Krystyna Członka – teacher at the Primary School named after John Paul II in Gościszów,
  • Beata Zawrotniak – teacher at the Primary School named after Tadeusz Kościuszko in Wykroty.
  • Piotr Fedorowicz – principal of the Primary School named after John Paul II in Gierałtów.

At the end of the ceremony, mayor Robert Relich once again extended his heartfelt thanks to the teachers, educators and tutors for the effort they devote to raising young people and children.
