For several days now, clothes have been strewn around Polna Street like this. A PCK container.

Let us recall. The issue of the mess around PCK containers returned during the September session of the Bolesławiec City Council. Law and Justice councillor Bogdan Biernat asked about the possibility of removing the containers from Kościelna and Zacisze. As he argued, they are being vandalised, and clothes are scattered around them. What is more, people then relieve themselves on the clothes; vermin and rats breed there.

Mayor Piotr Roman announced that the municipal authorities had held several meetings with PCK. He admitted that, at one point, the Municipality of Bolesławiec wanted to terminate its agreement with the organisation. “This is a major problem,” he said. He added that he himself had witnessed someone from Żagań arriving in Bolesławiec with an entire boot full of clothes.

What was decided? The city will monitor the situation and try out different locations for the containers in question so that this problem disappears.
