On Tuesday (October 12), paramedics from Bolesławiec, together with the US military stationed in Trzebień, conducted a transport exercise involving a large number of casualties. The simulated situation depicted an accident following the explosion of an artillery shell, as a result of which 5 soldiers were seriously injured. In such situations, close cooperation between civilian and military units is crucial.
The purpose of organizing such exercises is to improve communication between the parties, enhance the quality of assistance provided at the base, develop more consistent procedures, reduce the time needed to transport casualties to the hospital in Bolesławiec, and exchange experience.
