Karolina Kędzia, currently representing AWS-AWF Wrocław, won the title of Polish Champion in the women’s pentathlon at the country’s most important indoor competition, held last weekend in Spała. The high form of the athlete from Bolesławiec was confirmed by as many as five personal bests. Karolina is currently a student at AWF Wrocław and trains in athletics under the guidance of Zdzisław Kokot. Her talent for this event was discovered by Waldemar Krysztofiak.

Another representative of Bolesławiec achieving excellent results at national and international level is Jacek Nabożny. At the Polish Championships, he won the silver medal in the heptathlon, losing by just 28 points to Marcin Dróżdż.

The current results of athletes who once trained in Bolesławiec demonstrate the high standard of training at MKS Bolesłavia. The club specializes in training young athletes. Let us recall that it is the third-best athletics center in terms of results in Lower Silesia. Together with ILYO Bolesławiec, MKS Bolesłavia earned the most points in the Youth Sports System among sports clubs from the city and Bolesławiec County.
