Bolesławiec’s Tesco was opened on December 1, 2005. The store operated in Bolesławiec for 16 years. A fuel station also operated next to the store and for many years offered fuel at competitive prices.
A few days ago, Tesco’s website announced the closure of its outlets, including the store in Bolesławiec. The fuel station had already been closed earlier. The store is to close by October 26. Employees have been included in a collective redundancy program.
For now, it is not known what will happen to the Bolesławiec property after Tesco’s withdrawal. It is known that the Netto chain will not open a store at this location. Perhaps the property will be sold or leased.
