During the September meeting of the Bolesławiec County Council, there was discussion of investments planned by the Bolesławiec County Hospital, including one worth PLN 2 million. It involves purchasing a surgical robot that would perform operations involving knee replacement. It would be the first such device in Poland and one of the few available in this part of the Old Continent.
Interestingly, if everything goes according to plan, the hospital staff will have to undergo appropriate training, and the nearest centers providing it are located in London and… Israel.
