The planned construction of a helipad on the roof of the building housing the Emergency Department in Bolesławiec, as well as the expansion of the Emergency Department itself, was announced on Friday, September 24, by Kamil Barczyk, Director of Szpital Powiatowy w Bolesławcu.

The construction of the helipad is a task planned for next year, for which we are currently making extensive preparations. The investment project, worth nearly 12 million zlotys, will help improve patient safety. The helipad has been designed on the roof of the Emergency Department building, providing an optimal connection with the department while taking into account the time and safety of patient transport.
The construction of the hospital helipad is part of an investment process that over the following year should include replacing the vehicles used by emergency medical teams and modernizing the Emergency Department, along with expanding it by 300 m². The total cost of the investments will exceed 20 million zlotys.
