Before the extraordinary session of the Bolesławiec County Council began, medics from the Bolesławiec Healthcare Complex were honored. Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak spoke:

During the Ceramics Festival, Lower Silesian Voivode Jarosław Obremski presented employees of our hospital with “For Merits in Healthcare” badges on behalf of the Minister of Health. For various reasons—because of official duties or the holiday season—some of our healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses and paramedics, were unable to collect the awards in person.

Originally, the ceremony was to precede the County Council meeting planned for the end of September, but because of the rising number of SARS-CoV-2 infections, it was decided to hold it this Thursday.

The county head added:

On behalf of myself and the chairman, and above all on behalf of you, the County Council members, I wanted to thank these exceptional people who save our lives and health for what you have done over the past more than a year and a half. We are proud of our hospital.

Director of the Healthcare Complex Kamil Barczyk said:

This is an exceptional event for me and for the colleagues working at the hospital. I am very proud of this team and of the contribution these people make to the hospital’s development. I hope it will continue for many, many years. That is what we are working toward.
