On Thursday, September 9, the fire service intervened three times in response to petroleum-based substances spilled on roads, creating slippery surfaces.
The first report concerned a spill approximately 200 metres long on Robotnicza Street in Nowogrodziec. The second report concerned a spill on a road in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki.
Petroleum-based substance was also spilled in Bolesławiec, at the intersection of Chrobrego Street and Staroszkolna Street (photo above).
In such situations, firefighters secure the area where the slippery spill is located to prevent an accident or collision. The road administrator will remove the spill.
