PolSailing Day will begin at 12:00 and last until 4:00 p.m. We have planned plenty of attractions for children and their parents, specifically:
- Treasure Map, featuring activities and sports competitions for children on land
- Basic sailing lessons on Optimist-class boats for the youngest participants;
- Demonstration sailing and righting of capsized Lasers;
- RIB motorboat trips;
- Kayaking and SUPing;
- Refreshments for children and a barbecue;
- Singing sea shanties around the campfire.
Admission and all attractions are free, and on site it will be possible to support the activities of UKŻ Pirat and learn how to donate to the Club for its statutory purposes! Thanks to your support, our Club not only trains young competitors but can also organize open events promoting sailing. We would like to sincerely thank you in advance for any financial support!
The number of places for children is limited, and registration will begin at 12:00 at the event venue. However, regardless of the number of places available, we invite everyone interested in sailing or wishing to spend an enjoyable time by the water, because there will be a place for everyone on our deck!
Finally, a few words about PolSailing Day. UKŻ Pirat Bolesławiec participates in the nationwide sailing education program of the Polish Yachting Association, “PolSailing,” funded by the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport. As part of the program, children across Poland take part in basic sailing lessons and events promoting sailing among the youngest participants, their families and friends. PolSailing Day is an event through which anyone interested can begin their adventure under sail, and we warmly encourage you to do so.
