Officers of the Traffic Department of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec have an analyzer for detecting drugs. Thanks to its special design and modern technological solutions, the equipment provides rapid test results. All that is needed is to collect a saliva sample and subject it to verification.
The portable device is already being used to check drivers traveling on the roads of Bolesławiec County for being under the influence of a narcotic substance.
Reminder:
- driving after using drugs is punishable by up to 2 years in prison, loss of a driving licence and financial consequences,
- if a driver under the influence of drugs causes a fatal accident, they may be sentenced to 12 years in prison.
- possession of narcotic substances is punishable by up to 3 years in prison.
