On Tuesday, 9 February, Bolesławiec City Hall terminated the perpetual usufruct agreement with the Polish Allotment Garden Association. Forty-eight allotments belonging to the “Serbinowo” Family Allotment Garden (more than 1.6 ha), located directly next to the municipal cemetery on Śluzowa Street, will be liquidated.

The decision was made following consultations with the allotment users to date, who will receive appropriate compensation. The Presidium of the National Council of the Polish Allotment Garden Association also approved the liquidation of the allotments.

Expanding the municipal cemetery will allow it to continue operating for approximately 15 more years. The agreement was signed by Elżbieta Dziedzic and Stanisław Maroszek (representatives of the Polish Allotment Garden Association), and Jan Kisiliczyk, head of the Property and Spatial Management Department of Bolesławiec City Hall.
