Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman received an anonymous email this night in which someone wrote that “the final straw has been reached” and that they must kill Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman, stabbing him through the heart. “You will die like Adamowicz, for everything bad you have done for Bolesławiec,” the anonymous author wrote in the message.
“I confirm that the mayor received an email in which someone threatened to kill him,” says city spokesperson Agnieszka Gergont. “He reported it to the police. He was offered protection, and an investigation into the matter has begun,” the spokesperson adds.
