On Saturday, August 7, a vaccination campaign organized by Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej w Bolesławcu and the municipal authorities took place in Osiecznica. The result? More than 100 people vaccinated.
What determined the success of the whole initiative? As the participants themselves said, convenience above all. There was no need to register or wait to receive the vaccine. What is more, a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine was administered during the campaign, so people vaccinated on Saturday in Osiecznica do not have to worry, for example, about missing the date for a second dose for some reason.
In addition, medical consultations were available that day, and people could also take part in the National Census. All of this took about half an hour.
Importantly, the local authorities decided to organize the campaign after receiving indications that Osiecznica municipality had one of the lowest vaccination rates in all of Lower Silesia.
Another campaign of this kind organized by Zespół Opieki Zdrowotnej will take place during the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival.
