As we read on the Facebook profile of the Bolesławiec hospital:
You have probably noticed that recently the green areas on the hospital grounds have been reduced. Their disappearance is connected with organizing the plot around the hospital, improving communication between the buildings and enhancing fire safety.
Most of the plants that were cut down were actually garden thuja, which, having gone unmaintained for years, had grown to excessive sizes. The most valuable species were left standing during the cutting.
The investment plans include a complete revitalization of the grounds, including the renovation of small architectural features and planting at least as many trees as were cut down.
