The incident occurred during the night of 11–12 July. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
At 3:56 a.m., they were called to a car fire in Nowogrodziec, on Wrzosowa Street. Once again, the quick response of the neighbors and the vehicle’s owner, who used buckets of water to suppress the fire, limited the damage.
They add:
After we arrived, one water stream was deployed, completely eliminating the danger, and the battery was disconnected. After the water evaporated, the vehicle was checked with a thermal imaging camera.
Fortunately, no one was injured. The police are investigating the incident.
