The incident occurred on Friday, July 9, before 7:00 p.m. As the police spokesperson informed us, the 29-year-old wanted to commit suicide by jumping from a railway viaduct.
The footage from our camera shows that the desperate man climbed onto the structure, but another man followed right behind him. He caught up with him after several dozen metres. A struggle ensued. It is possible that the man wanted to stop the desperate man from jumping. After 10 minutes, police officers arrived at the scene. They pulled the desperate man down from the railing. During the entire operation, a freight train was passing over the viaduct. The driver stopped the train.
The would-be suicide victim was taken to a specialist hospital.
