Regulations for an Unsupervised Paid Car Park
- Every vehicle user, by entering the car park, agrees to the terms of these Regulations and undertakes to strictly comply with their provisions.
- The operator shall not be liable for any damage that may occur during parking and shall not be responsible for the vehicle left in the car park, its equipment or any other items left by the vehicle user.
- The car park is unsupervised and paid on weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes are prohibited from entering.
- Parking is permitted after purchasing a parking ticket at the parking meter or via the mobile payment system, or for holders of a periodic City Resident subscription, a periodic subscription for any road user or a periodic bearer subscription.
- Vehicles displaying a disabled person’s parking card may park free of charge only in the designated space.
- Anyone using the car park is required to pay the parking fee appropriate to the planned parking duration, in accordance with the information displayed on the parking meter.
- Proof of payment of the parking fee is the parking ticket issued by the parking meter or mobile payment system after the fee has been paid, stating the amount paid and the duration of the paid parking. The parking ticket must be placed behind the windscreen inside the vehicle, in a location visible to enforcement officers, or the vehicle must be marked with a mobile payment system vignette.
- If the parking fee is not paid, an additional fee of PLN 75.00 shall be charged.
- The additional fee shall be paid by making a payment in the manner specified in the document (notice) issued by the enforcement officers.
- An additional fee not paid by the deadline shall be pursued through enforcement proceedings using the vehicle owner’s details obtained from the Central Register of Vehicles and Drivers (CEPiK). The car park user shall be charged the additional cost of obtaining the vehicle owner’s details from CEPiK in the amount stipulated in §7 of the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior of 18 June 2014 on the central vehicle register (Journal of Laws, item 816, as amended), as well as the costs of enforcement and debt-collection proceedings.
- In the event of collisions and road accidents occurring within the car park, the rules of road traffic law shall apply.
- In matters not covered by these Regulations, the relevant provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
Current Fee Schedule
- up to half an hour of parking – PLN 1.00;
- for the first hour of parking – PLN 3.00;
- for the second hour of parking – PLN 3.60;
- for the third hour of parking – PLN 4.30;
- for the fourth and each subsequent hour of parking – PLN 3.00.
