KS Kolonia Bolesławiec competed in the recently concluded season in Group III of the Jelenia Góra B Class. One matchday before the end of this season’s competition, Kolonia occupied third place in the table. LZS Nowa were in first place, while Bad Element Otok were second. However, the standings were so tightly contested that any of the three teams could have been promoted.
At the finish of the competition, the Bolesławiec side defeated KS Kotliska 9–0 at home, while the draw between the promotion-chasing teams Bad Element Otok and LZS Nowa gave the team from Bolesławiec promotion to Class A. This season’s promotion is not the team’s first. In the 2007/2008 season, Kolonia were also promoted to Class A.
