Immediately after the incident in the Nowogrodziec municipality, officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested a man who attacked two people with a knife during an argument.
– Then, based on the information gathered, officers from Nowogrodziec arrested a woman who had also participated in the altercation and incited the commission of a crime against life. The suspect also set a dog on the victim; the animal attacked and caused bodily injuries to the second injured party – reports asp. szt. Monika Kaleta of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
The detainees are residents of Bolesławiec County. The man had previously been convicted, among other things, of drug-related offenses.

The police findings and the evidence collected made it possible to charge each of the detainees with three offenses. The 40-year-old man was charged with two counts of attempted murder and making criminal threats. The 43-year-old woman will face charges of inciting murder, making threats, and setting a dog on the victim, thereby causing bodily injuries.
At the request of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office, the court ordered the temporary arrest of both aggressors. Both could face life imprisonment.
