The firefighters’ training involved familiarisation with the course of the dynamic and static exercises “Karakal 21”, as well as the opportunity to test training methods using Śnieżnik shooting simulators.

Lt. Marta Wieliczko describes the exercises as follows:

The exercise tested cooperation in developing a shared operational capability of soldiers from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade with subunits from other military units, including the 23rd Artillery Regiment, the 2nd Reconnaissance Regiment, the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade and the 16th Territorial Defence Forces Brigade, as well as the so-called allied reinforcement from the Bundeswehr, from the 41st Armored Grenadier Brigade.

After the live-fire phase of the exercises at the Land Forces Training Area, firefighters from the State Fire Service County Headquarters in Bolesławiec, cooperating with the Military Fire Service from Dobre nad Kwisą and Świętoszów, checked and confirmed the locations of fire sites in the training area. Additionally, as part of increasing the operational capabilities of the Military Fire Service, an SCC vehicle with a reserve of 25 cubic metres of water was also dispatched from the State Fire and Rescue Unit in Bolesławiec to ensure a continuous water supply.

The uniformed personnel:

It should be emphasised that cooperation between the State Fire Service County Headquarters in Bolesławiec and the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade has continued for many years, resulting in the inclusion of the Military Fire Service from Świętoszów in the structures of the National Rescue and Firefighting System.
