The program of the fourth Glina Show event includes a performance by the ZUMBA team led by Magdalena Kwiatkowska-Korczowska and Joanna Piekarz. Magda and Joanna, together with a team of dancers, will present routines to hot Latin American music.

Young vocalist Wiktoria Parkita will also perform during Glina Show. Wiktoria released her debut album, “Reaching for Dreams.” The young resident of Osiecznica recorded it with Wojtek Szajwaj, an excellent blues guitarist known, among other things, from Obstawą Prezydenta and the decidedly non-blues band Sumptuastic. The vocalist, composer and lyricist is also responsible for the graphic design of her album.

A vocal group performing songs from musical theatre will also appear on the musical program. The three young friends, brought together by their love of music and musical theatre, will sing a special repertoire prepared for the event at Glina Show.

Body painting, meaning painting models, is a very popular Glina Show attraction. This year there will be a demonstration in which models are painted by decorating artists from Bolesławiec ceramic companies. Our partner for the past four years has been Ceramika Artystyczna Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego. The outstanding creations of the cooperative’s artist-painters could be seen during the second and third editions of Glina Show.

Ceramika Artystyczna Spółdzielnia Rękodzieła Artystycznego has been creating original functional ceramics since 1950, referring to local 19th-century traditions. The designs created here win awards and recognition in Poland and around the world.

This year we have also invited Ceramikę Artystyczną Kaola – studio Kaola to collaborate. Andrzej Pachom, the studio’s principal artist, creates ceramic paintings, including works at the Bolesławiec Cultural Center – International Ceramics Center and the Bolesławiec Aquapark “Orka”.

A new feature will be a film makeup demonstration by Jadwiga Raczko, a graduate of SzkolArt Wrocław, a makeup and wigmaking school. The makeup will be innovative in that it will be applied to models completely covered with clay slip. During the demonstrations, visitors will be able to watch the work of the decorating artists and the professional makeup artist. The results of their work may also be photographed.

During the event, the Fit Style Zone gym will promote a healthy and active lifestyle in a specially prepared fitness show.

Outfits for the ZUMBA dance team and the vocalists will be designed by Małgorzata Dorosz of Efekt Wow Dekor Pracownia Krawiecka „Perła”. The dancers and vocalists, painted with clay, will wear original costumes. Małgorzata Dorosz and Grażyna Hanaf are also the designers of the Glina Show town. This year, subtle lace will take center stage. We are carrying out this project thanks to the support of PHU Extradom Marcin Cawricz.

This year, the dancers will also present original masks designed by them, which artist Ewa Wojciechowska will prepare for the event during special workshops.

We also have a tasty surprise for Glina Show spectators. Together with Dominika Menegoni, a food vlogger who cooks with passion and love, we are creating the Glina Show snack: a flavor associated with summer, sunshine, nature and health. A tasty signature of our event. Everyone who visits the Glina Show town on Bankowa Street on Saturday, August 21, is invited to try it.

The fourth edition of Glina Show is part of the 27th Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival and is being organized in cooperation with the Bolesławiec City Hall and the Bolesławiec Cultural Center – International Ceramics Center.
