The exercise involved efficiently transporting to the hospital in Bolesławiec an injured American soldier who had been involved in a serious-looking accident (an unexploded ordnance incident at the training ground located near Trzebień).
The aim of the international exercise was to develop joint procedures between the Healthcare Team and American army soldiers who, due to their location in Bolesławiec County, are territorially served by the local hospital.

We hope that the civil-military cooperation initiated in this way will be a good starting point for exchanging experience, conducting joint first-aid training and, ultimately, carrying out exercises involving a planned mass-casualty incident.
Both sides agree that similar incidents should be prevented. The best way to prepare soldiers for operations in a crisis situation is to simulate an accident at the training ground and conduct joint exercises.
