At the beginning of May, we reported that at the municipal pond in Bolesławiec a swan was incubating eggs. The following day, the nest was covered in such a way that passers-by would not stress the bird.
Unfortunately, it appears that there will be no cygnets in the near future. The swan has left the nest permanently and is swimming with her mate in the municipal pond. There are no longer any eggs in the nest.
It is not known what happened to them. Perhaps someone took them. It is also possible that an animal ate them during a break between incubation periods.
