Bishop of Legnica Zbigniew Kiernikowski writes that the time has come for annual personnel changes related to current pastoral needs.
Among the many changes, one concerns Rev. Janusz Wilk from Gościszów. This is the priest who was the central figure in the story about the lack of a Catholic funeral. We described it in the article: What really happened with the refusal of a Catholic funeral in Gościszów?
By the bishop’s decision, Janusz Wilk, previously the parish priest of the Parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Gościszów, has now been appointed parish priest of the Parish of Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn in Rząsiny.
Is this the result of the recent story about the lack of a Catholic funeral, or simply previously planned changes? It is not known, as the document on the changes contains no such explanation.
