Road investments are among the priority tasks of Bolesławiec County. Last year, thanks to cooperation between Bolesławiec County and the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, part of the road connecting Warta Bolesławiecka with Wartowice was modernised (STAGE III). The works involved milling the old surface, laying a new asphalt road surface, cleaning and reinforcing the shoulder, and painting road lines on both sides of the road. The cost of modernising the 450-metre section amounted to PLN 247,888.00.
The fourth stage of the investment, scheduled for this year, involves modernising an almost one-kilometre section of the Wartowice–Łaziska county road. The surface is currently in very poor condition. Frequent use by heavy agricultural machinery and the lack of proper surface drainage have led to numerous defects and uneven sections. The project includes widening the road and constructing a new road surface and new entrances. The scope of work also includes widening the road, eliminating structural failures and reinforcing the surface.
Modernising the road will improve driving comfort and significantly enhance driver safety. The project is particularly important for residents of the surrounding villages. It is also an excellent example of cooperation between Bolesławiec County and the Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality, aimed at improving road conditions in the County.
The works are scheduled for completion in July 2021.
